KISHORE KUMAR (4 August 1929 – 13 October 1987) was an Indian playback singer and actor. Kishore Kumar (4 August 1929 – 13 October 1987) was an Indian film playback singer, actor, lyricist, composer, producer, director, and screenwriter. He was one of the most popular and successful playback singers in the Indian music industry and is considered one of the greatest singers in the Hindi film industry. He sang in many Indian languages including Hindi, Bengali and Marathi. Kumar began his career as a chorus singer in Bombay Talkies, but soon started acting and singing in films.
